Hi, I have a 2008 Octavia 5dr VRS and have an ongoing problem with it.

 

It started last year when both the near side doors, windows and mirror (including indicator) suddenly stopped working. The interior light also doesn’t work when any of the near side doors are opened. So essentially the n/s of the car is dead. 
 

I checked all the fuses and continuity in the wiring for the usual wire breaks between the doors to no avail. Diagnostic software only showed that there was no signal to the near side.

 

The problem disappeared as quickly as it appeared about a month later but has just reappeared today. Exactly the same symptoms, doors, windows and Murrow.

 

Unfortunately this time the doors are deadlocked so I can’t even open them from the inside with the handle. I’ll need to take the door panels off and have a look. 
 

Any help would be appreciated.

There are signals also from the controller in the drivers door to the near side doors.

Check for wire breaks in the body to drivers door snake.
