anybody know why as above...

vrs mk1 wipers always stay on even when key removed .

 

>screen spray works

> position off / 1 / 2 stay at one speed

>position 3 goes faster

 

would this be the relay or something playing up?

 

any tips as obviously doing my head in?😅

 

i took out the 30 amp fuse to turn them off... but not an ideal method when its a day with rain showers that are on off frequently..

 

nothing more daft looking tja than driving with no rain but got wipers on😅🤣

Relay contacts for low speed welded together by the sound of it.

How-to thread for wiper relay replacement in Fabia guides section. Soldering reqd.

Or replace control unit.
