B9A or LF9E - Skoda Octavia 2016

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've been racking my brain about the colour references for my car (to paint over some scratches)

My local car dealer has said the paint is B9A, but the sticker on the car says LF9E.

When doing a google research both come up as "Candy White". Some results come back for just F9E or 9P9P. Is there a difference? Are the references the same paint? Is one for Skoda and the other for VW? What paint should I get?

Any help is much appreciated.

This comes up for Octavia 2016 (G)

9P9P - F9E

I found Candy white on a Golf as this though.

9021 - B9A

But that doesn't match any numbers you have given on your list, so no idea why you dealer is choosing that.

If you want a touch up pen set, then you would order

3T0 050 300  F9E

For spray cans

3T0 050 200  F9E

How it works if you may buy a part for your car (let's say a rear spoiler) and it might come painted.

My car has 1Z1Z - F9R for Black magic pearl effect, so when I find the part, it will list F9R on the end of the part number to indicate a colour choice.

Spoiler is 5E9 827 878 A, but it can be purchased ready painted, making the part number in full... 5E9 827 878 A  F9R

Would this do the job you think?

I would stick with these numbers only, if it was my car.

That colour you posted could be a different shade, and stick out like a sore thumb.... those paints are not too expensive, and cheaper than a mistake.
