Hi guys. 

 

New here but read the forums alot. I'll attach a link as I've been looking at upgrades for the halogen light units and come across these fog units with a led strip for drl. No doubt scream Chinese knock offs lol so I'm abit dubious. Going through the forums I know alot has been posted about the h15s so I won't touch on that but has anyone tried these units or done anything similar. I have the SE L model.

Just use VCDS or something to set the fog light to a DRL if that’s what you want. It’ll look better than them plus it won’t fail after 5 minutes, like they will. 

Thought about that, would these be too bright to also act as sidelights? Thinking of having the h15 as drl and high beam only
