Fault Motor for Rear Temperature Flap

Featured Replies

Dear Superb collogues,

I'm writing here hoping that you could give me some advice regarding the following situation I'm facing.

I own a Skoda Superb III from 2016, from a while now I discovered that there is no warm air coming through the back seats air vents nor at the leg's back seats, whereas, in the front side of the car driver/passenger grills + legs everything works just fine.

After I did a diagnosis on my own I discovered that I have these errors, attached on word doc.

My questions are:

  • Where is this motor located?
  • How I can know before starting to disassemble the car the motor code so I can buy it?
  • Any tutorial or user guide that can help me changing this on my own?

Thank you advance for any responses.

See below; as you can see, although its a very short guide, the second section being remove centre console is a big one.

The motor for the temperature control at the rear is located almost directly behind the heater control panel itself but cannot be accessed without removing the complete centre console.

(Keep in mind this is far from the worst one to access so count yourself lucky you dont have to remove the entire dashboard)

Hello ApertureS,

I appreciate your answer, do you think you can share with me the repair manual? It will be very helpful for me.

Best,

Bogdan
