Apple CarPlay wireless on Swing infotainment?

Hi everyone! I'm considering buying a new Skoda Octavia Ambition 2023 which, if I've understood this correctly, has the Swing infotainment system. I know that my iPhone can connect to the car through Bluetooth, but can someone tell me if I can connect AirPlay wirelessly as well? Thank you in advance!

Hi, I have Octavia Ambition from 2021 and I have Swing infotainment. I use wireless Carplay with no problem.

In Octavia offer for 2021 I see "SmartLink function with wireless connection for iOS devices". I think that in 2023 there will be the same feature, but check it on your own.

Thanks, these are exciting news! Did you have to make any changes to the car, such as coding, or did it work from start?

It was working from the start. Check specification on Skoda site, there should be info about wireless Carplay.

Hi everyone, I have a Skoda Fabia with a 1.2 AZQ engine. I have a warm running issue - the car misfires/stutters when fully warm. The intake air temperature (IAT) reads around 80°C when the problem occurs. When I unplug the EGR connector the car runs perfectly and IAT drops to around 30°C. Parts already replaced: EGR valve (new) + adaptation done MAP sensor (new) Coolant temperature sensor (new) PCV valve (new) EGR pipe is clean, no carbon buildup Breather hose between EGR and air filter ho

It is the third time my wing mirrior smashed by a car in 9 months. I moved in and live in country lanes and narrow roads. They drive too fast and do not pay attention. I want to know if it can be overridden by VCDS to allow unrestricted closing of the mirror at any speed? The current limit is 20mph above to prevent the mirror wing from closing. This is frustrating as my old Honda Jazz mk1 can close at any speed!

Hi, My tensioner failed at low revs and speed, the car juddered and stalled. It restarted and I drove home about a mile steadily. It seemed to drive normally if a little noisy. Next day it would start but not run. The check engine light was on. Pretty sure the Timing jumped a tooth. Q. do the valves always hit the pistons? do the valves always bend? Might I get away with an new tensioner and re-time? TIA
