Hi there,

 

I currently have a new car on order, an Octavia iV vRS Estate.

 

It has been on order through a lease company since November 2021 and I am getting no where with getting updates from them.

 

I have the Skoda order number, but the lease company will not tell me which dealer the order is with.

 

Can any Skoda Sales Staff help out of I give them the order number and advise which dealer it is with?

I have but they have been hopeless.

 

All the say is speak to your leasing company for updates.

See title. He's hoping someone answering that description is reading, and may help. If you are not such a person, and don't actually have any further help to offer, perhaps leave him alone?

I have contacted Skoda UK ( Head Office) and they have advised me to contacted the dealer, but they will not advise what dealer the order is with and neither will the leasing company.

Did ypu actually get to communicate with Skoda UK Head Office and Skoda / VW Employees, Executive Team or were you dealing with this Crowd who are the contractors and the Gate Keepers that have a set list of answers and are next to useless?

Just a thought, but have you tried rocking up to a Skoda dealer, explaining your situation, and asking them if they can help?

Aside from that, presumably you've paid a deposit with your order, I might be tempted to contact trading standards and ask them where you stand.

Some sales executive @ Henrys might just be in a helpful frame of mind.

Was trying to help, couldn't, and was simply asking a question. I may not have repsponded but that in my book would be ignorant.

 

OP didn't see that as an issue, why have you?

 

The headline you refer to says  ANY UK SALES STAFF?   I can read that in 3 different ways hence why I replied.

 

If you are not at least willing to try and help someone, then if I may say so, your posting is a tad ironic. ( as are those who gave it a thumbs up because they never helped either ).

 

It's no wonder you have 18.9K postings to your name if trolling is a pastime.

You just persuaded me to ignore him too.

Im reasssured that it turns out not just to be me on the recieving end but saddened that its more widespread, at the time I thought i muast have unknowingly upset him atometime before.

 

I cant work out why not responding to a genreal question not aimed at an individual person could be deemed to be rude, the response to Pete was well beyod rude,

I'm looking at all the respondants to this thread by the OP.

 

I'm looking at the number of posts all of you have made.

 

There's only one person who's actually tried to help the OP.  ( Toot ).

 

All those with many thousands of postings have completely ignored the OP's original question, rather you want to take over the topic in a whole new direction.

 

My point is that's why you people have many thousands of posts to your names. It's not about trying to help people, it's always about yourselves. I think that is so disrespectful to the OP it's untrue.

 

Now I'm going to stop posting on this thread becasue like you, I too will be guilty of posting a lot of pi5h about nothing.

 

PS - Another observation - all those who post many thousands upon thousands of postings apprear to post on every topic under the sun...  yet the majority of you seems to have zero experience of the models involved, or experience of buying new cars from the dealer, or even experience of the dealers. Yet that doesn't seem to prevent you from being an expert on the subject. Sorry if the truth hurts.
