Oil

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a question if enybody can help me with this,  every time when I'm changing  oil, it's coming out more than I put in with about 2-3 litres, coolant level is alright, skoda octavia 2010 2.0 TDI 103kw

What does the old oil smell like?  Could it be the oil is being diluted by diesel fuel.

That makes me think diesel and/or coolant. Any smell of diesel, high fuel consumption or signs of mayonnaise?

You are telling us in the span of a year between services you are pulling an EXTRA 2-3 litres on top of the standard fill amount of around 4-5 litres?

If so, you have massive piston blow by during DPF regens or you have a coolant leak.

Yes is coming out extra 2-3 litres, and is not coolant, I'm servicing it every 6k miles
