Kodiaq Sportline winter wheels and tyres?

Featured Replies

We have a Kodiaq Sportline with 20" wheels and would like to get some wheels and tyres to swap over during the winter as where we live is quite rural and the roads can be quite muddy from farm traffic. When we do get snow the 20" Pirelli tyres might as well be slicks. Was thinking of dropping down to 18" and wondered if others had done a similar thing.

BoxerBoy uses 215/65R17 winter tyres on his Kodiaq.

The 18 inch take 235/55 R18 on 7J ET 43 rims

17 inch use 215/65 R17 on 7J ET40, but the official Skoda wheel brochure (linked) also has Nanuq with winter tyres, these are 6.5J ET38

Of course don't have to buy Skoda wheels.

I am finding I am using my winter tyres for a longer season, from late October until at least start of May,  now I live in more rural area, as they deal with muddy field run off and rutted country roads so much better even at +10 to +15c than the summer tyres which are dreadful in wet below about +10c

I’ve got 215x65x17 winter wheels I used on my previous 2.0 tsi 180 4x4 and current 1.5 tsi Sportline
