Hi all,

Just bought my first Skoda, a Octavia vRS estate 2019.

Traded in my 2019 Golf estate for this car and had a Passat before that. Super happy with VAG and now I wanted more power and really like the design of the facelift Octavia.

Going to do some mods, H&R lowering springs, spacers and some Maxton bits.

OBD 11 with the facelift model

Hi All, I want get any advice when it comes to using the obd11 or other such scanners on the facelift mk4, especially stuff like changing the settings for auto stop start and lane departure. Can you unlock the sfd2 with this device? There website is very confusing as to whether it will work. Cheers

Yesterday our Roomster started beeping and flashing the warning light about the ABS. My first thought was to replace the ABS sensors – they are around £7 each and seem to be easy enough to replace by removing the rear wheels. I could also give the connections a bit of a clean at the same time. What are my chances chances of fixing the issue within 45 minutes of DIY work? I don’t have any diagnostic tools, but if this is a common fault with an easy fix it would be great to know what other peo

Have a very frustrating problem with my Fabia... The rear offside brake cylinder developed a bad leak, braking power very poor, near home so very carefully managed to get it home. Left it outside, pouring rain. Next day I discovered the cylinder had seemingly emptied a lot of brake fluid overnight. I couldn't do anything with it for a week. My driveway is on a slope downhill, I got the car down the drive very carefully without using brakes but just using clutch biting point in 1st gear. Position

Hi. I have a leak of diesel or oil from my Octavia 1.6 diesel engine and I am taking it to get steam cleaned etc today before driving down to a garage for them to check the leak . Is it ok for me to continue to drive my car around ? I have been for quite a while with this burning smell, the garage has said it should be fine but I just wanted some other advice. No warning lights come on and the car runs ok . Thank you.

Morning Guys, this is one for any iV owners, I charged the car overnight then went on a short run but even a short run in these minus temperatures hammer the battery I did around 6 miles with heater and seat warmer on and I’d used nearly 30 % of the battery so went to plug in again at home only to find the flap that covers the charge plug would not open, it does move in an out slightly but the catch does not release, don’t think it’s cold weather related as I have had the hairdryer on it for a g
