Is it possible to set the sat nav map to be displayed from switch on.

Instead of having to be selected.

Kodiaq Sportline.

Struggling with this one I'm afraid.  I have a 2020 Sportline with the same MIB3 Columbus touchscreen as you should have, and it'll display whatever the previous screen was.

What screen is being displayed on startup? Is it the same screen each time?

I'm wondering if there's some setting / tick box that's been checked that sets a default screen? Dunno.

Solutions?  You could try reset back to factory default settings. The only other thing that springs to mind is the software bug issue which your car may have. A dealer will be able to say if your car's software is one that needs updated.

Perhaps someone else will come up with an easy solution.

Hi

The screen being displayed is darkish with a  note saying no destinations set.

Its the same screen everytime

If i touch the arrow bottom right corner of the screen it brings up the map.

I have been all over the settings that i can see and can`t seem to find anything that changes it.

Its not a major problem, but just thought it should bring up the map by default.

All the other cars i have had brought up the map.

I have the Home Screen set up similar to this picture borrowed from elsewhere, and maps always appear at switch on, and can be full screen if you touch map widget on screen.

Ignore the start of this video, but Home Screen set up very similar to Kodiaq.

Once maps added ,to home screen it will display as per photo in my post at start up.

Thanks for the video Kenny.

Will try it out.

As per above - set to home screen. Same if you use Android Auto. If you turn off the ignition when the Android Auto screen is on then it'll be Google maps that's displayed when you switch on again.

PS - apologies. From your initial post I thought you meant each time the system switched on it was displaying radio or whatever.
