Sorry but I'm sure this has been asked many a time before, I've ordered a vrs with some extras in hyper green. My dealer has informed me that it's being built week 22 which I believe is this week . How long till delivery from build date. (I was original originally told a 20week delivery).

It is asked many times and it might be just a few weeks as it goes for getting on a ship then onto a transporter and then up to them.

 

But they know how long each one they are getting is taking this year compared to last year or past years,

Ask the sales person or their boss how long the current orders are taking from build until they take them from the delivery driver.

Once built, (assuming not going to storage awaiting a part)

 

1-2 days train to Emden

2 days - 2 months awaiting a ship (typically 2-3 weeks)

3-5 days sailing (might discharge part of load elsewhere first)

2-14 days awaiting a road transporter (so depends on other orders as going to want at least half load, if not full load), so might involve 2 dealers

1-20 days to do PDI depending on how on the ball the sales team are with booking workshop slots

 

So anything from 2-3 weeks to 3-4 months 

 

 

I ordered a Karoq SEL with the exclusive paint and the virtual dashboard on 22nd February.

It arrived at the dealer on 15th May and I collected it on 22nd May after DVLA had sorted my cherished number out.

That's around 12 weeks start to finish

I have been informed today that the car has left the factory and is on its way to the port , so fingers crossed it’s less than the quoted 20 weeks( 7 so far ).
