Autoleads FP-20-00 Fabia facia crap fitment!

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Just fitted the new Pioneer DEH-P75BT and I can't get the above Autolead part to fit correctly....

The only way I can see how this thing fits is behind the aftermarket headunit front bezel? - problem is the Autoleads part is quite fat so the headunit bezel won't clip on.

What going on and is this a common complaint?

Thanks

Frank

If what you're talking about is the surround when fitting an aftermarket headunit, why not just get the proper clip-in part from a Skoda dealer. Think it's only £3-£4. Saves all this mucking about with aftermarket stuff!

If this isn't what you're having a problem with, just ignore me :D

nah, mate, been down that road. I even provided the part number of the Facia to the dealer and it didn't match up on the part matrix.

I've got a Skoda facia adaptor for the Fabia sat right here. It's just a thin strip of black plastic, so you don't have a gap between new HU and the dash.

You can have it for a couple of quid if you like...

I've got one sitting in front of me ready for my new stereo (whenever that might be) part number is 6Y0 857 231 B41 hope this helps.
