60 Plate Elegance TDI Bolero Bluetooth

Featured Replies

Hi All!

I have just purchased my first Skoda, and for a second car (up graded from a 1.2 Fiat) what could be better than a pristine Octavia!

Anyways, I have noticed that my Radio system has the phone button, but the radio does not have any apparent Bluetooth connectivity. So Skoda fans, is there a way that I can update my Bolero software to allow for bluetooth connectivity for calls? OR can I replace the Radio unit with a more modern one that has B-Tooth?

I do not need it to stream audio, just for phone calls.....and to make life better the cars first owner did not get a functional wheel, just the basic one.

TIA!

The standard Elegance model did not come with Bluetooth or the buttons on the wheel or the Multi Function Display.

The Radio button can be used to mute the standard Bolero radio.

Most people who want more, change the radio to a chinese version to get bluetooth, DAB radio GPS map etc

Thanks for your response!

So it is doable to replace the radio to get BlueTooth?

Yes, but I suggest you look at the many threads on here to avoid pitfalls and get recommendations.
