A challenge to all techies out there - Rear Caliper dust boot replace

Featured Replies

Rebuilding the rear calipers on a Skoda Yeti 4x4 elegance. Every video I have looked at shows a dust boot which simply can be lifted into a groove in the caliper.
There is no groove on this caliper but there are what look like teeth. It looks like I would need to take this retaining ring out and somehow get it to grip the boot but at a loss of how to do this.
Any help / advice would be appreciated

Not the same but does this help?

Thanks for the video link. Already looked at about a dozen of these. It turns out the metal band was a remnant of the dust boot that had come away.
I prised it off with a screwdriver and as you can see in the photo and now it is just a regular ol caliper that can be rebuilt .
t does seem however that the boot was stuck to the caliper as there is no groove for it to slide into.
