EXTRA URBAN FUEL CONSUMPTION IS GONNA BE A KILLER BUT I THINK ANY LONG JOURNEYS IN THIS 'LETHAL' MACHINE WILL MAKE UP FOR THAT.

yes the Octy II vRS is absolutely awesome!! im sure i have upset a few people when overtaking them in it!

fuel consumption is not that bad if you are not looning about in it, im getting between 35-37mpg out of mine according to the computer and the paper calculations. though i did worry my mate in mine when i put on the instantanious consumption and booted it in second, 3.5mpg anyone?:(

i have to say if someone said to me last year that i would be driving a skoda and loving it, i would have laughed at them.......mind you, when i was at school i said to my mate that i would point blank refuse to work in the oil industry and offshore.......been eating those words for over a year now!

out of interest (ie noseyness), colour and options please micksvrs.

its the same as yours.......i only know of 1 other blue and 1 red vRS in my vacinity.

by the way mine has 17's....and still i'm thinking oh my **** ,what a car.

i'm sure this feeling of almost disbelief will fade, but hopefully not for some time yet.

so you have a silver one too?

i stayed with the 17" wheels as i live on a farm, and didnt want wheels shaped like a 50p! not so bad since my brother filled in the major potholes with hardcore.....

apparently mine was the only silver one in aberdeen when i collected it. dont know if that is still the case....seen two, a black one (dealer demo i think) and blue one......

the vRS is also quite a rare car i think. seen quite a few GTi's an ST's. you cant move in aberdeen for impreza's or TT's, so its nice to be a bit different

its a great car isnt it?!! i got it cos the boot is ****ing huge and i play golf.

and bloody quick. i could lose my licence very easily if i wasnt so careful, but i find it amusing to find people tailgating me, overtaking, then getting caught behind something else, then blatting past them cause they got too close and couldnt see if the road was clear.

so glad i chose it over a focus ST........and im an ex focus owner!

(is it right that i now want to wave at other vRS drivers??)

Where are you located Mick in Cork? I'll keep an eye out for you! Who supplied your car?
