Documentation received with new Fabia

Featured Replies

Just checking through glove box paperwork, and received very little, and not filled in and stamped.

No information about Skoda Assist, just discovered online that car has three years cover. Also Skoda connect is active for 10 years, whatever that is. Still to connect to it when next in car.

Just wondering what else others receieved with their new car.

Hello,When i bought my fabia it was like you recieved. No service book, was told it is a digital record.Being an old timer i prefer a hard copy of services. After purchasing my book ,i asked my dealer to fill it in at first service, which they did .On handover i felt they wanted me away as soon as possible, info was very sparse .What they filled in was just the pdi and when it was done.So you are not alone on info from dealer.Cheers Andy

Exactly the same when I picked up my new Fabia

Got dealer to fill in and stamp owners manual

Car great, handover felt like I was just rushed  with no info or help which was a shame

You can install app called my Skoda essentials which connects to car with shows info

I downloaded the Skoda app last week, the free version has nothing to recommend as it really tells you nothing other than VIN number!

54 quid for a year's subs, for something that i doubt I would ever use. Not for me.

You can try for free for 1 month

I use it , it helped me as my wife did not lock car and I could see on app

Maybe try 1 month free trial ?

Okay, might give it a go. Me and the wife getting on a bit now, so might come in useful if either of us have a 'senior moment'. Haha.
