F/OS wheel 'groans' on right lock..

Featured Replies

I've noticed in the last few days, that when I turn hard right, at carpark speeds, the front off-side wheel / wheel area makes a noise that can only be described as a long groan.. can anyone shed any light or have a got a vagrant sleeping in my wheel arch? Cheers.

tyre rubbing somewhere?

No, its definatley not the tyres. Its more of a mechanical / grinding noise.

Is the frequency related to the road speed when you're turning? If so, it might be the CV joint.
