Fabia no Start issue

Featured Replies

OK,

Had to go back to work to collect something went back to the car 10 mins later and the engine turns over but no fuel prime.

AA out, half took the dash to bits to check realays and it started. Nothing touched

Got home (4miles away) and turned off ignition, tried to restart and nothing again.

AA out. Checked fuel pump, no power. Checked the Fuse, no power. Checked the Relay, again no power. Bridged the relay and managed to get a live feed but pump still not working.

AA man recons that the signal from the engine to turn the fuel pump on isnt happening.

Now, its been mapped by jabba, which i dont think the problem is although he did say the it could be either the imobarliser or the ECU.

Any ideas.

The remap has been on for around three weeks and ive covered around 1000 miles, surely it cant be that!!!!!!!

Oh yeah 55 plate

Fuel pump packed up? Think there were some people who've reported it before, but a search should confirm :D

Chris

can you get the ECU set back to stock before returning it to skoda?

too late......

plus with the hybrid turbo and blueflame the'll know anyway.

If it is the fuel pumb cant see the issue with warrenty

Have you tried using your spare key, as it could be that the chip in your key has gone faulty therefore not cancelling the immobiliser.

ok, thinks definatly arnt good!!!

Been in the skoda garage workshop for a day now, and still no idea what the problem is :(

The tech guy has been in constant communication with Skoda Technical. Begining to think its serious. Not the simple relay or pump failure.
