2017 Skoda Rapid Key

Featured Replies

The key shaft came out of my key fob

I tried to push it back in but the pin was in the way

I had to remove the pin ,insert the key shaft and refit pin

I'm wondering how the key shaft came out as the pin was still in place when I noticed the key shaft was not in the key fob

I had noticed that the pin was sticking out a couple of mm

I'm assuming the pin  worked loose  in my pocket allowing the key shaft to come out of the key fob

It must have then moved back into the key fob

Very strange

How do I ensure this doesn't happen again
