Leather on L & K Octavia

Featured Replies

Looking for peoples thoughts/experiences before we buy.

On the Lauren & klement which is better & why, The full leather or the part leather, price appears to be the same

Thanks

Stuart

I didnt know the L&K came with part leather as an option , all the ones ive seen have had full dark tan leather. If you have a choice , go for full leather every time , it wears better than cloth , and is a good option to have come resale time!!

Odd one, this...

According to the brochure, part leather is available, but I've enever seen it. It appears that full leather should be an extra cost option, but it was quoted at list price on my car.

Anyway, my L&K is now coming up to it's 1st birthday on Saturday, and it's wearing very well. I'd go for the full leather, even if it costs more. It definitely wears better. It's a bit chilly on cold mornings (until the seat heaters get going), and you have to be careful when you get in on hot days wearing shorts (ouch!!), but the pros outweigh the cons.

Full leather everytime. Easier to clean, you only need one type of cleaner, probably give the car a better resale value......

I share Phil's sentiments about Winter. Even with the part leather of the RS it's bl**dy cold!

Which dealer are you thinking of going to? I know there are quite a few around Hampshire. We've Jacksons in Basingstoke; wouldn't do anything on prices but they're friendly and the service is very good.

Cheers.

Adrian.

I know someone at work with the half leather/alcantara l&k seats. The alcantara bit is even lighter than the leather. It all looks a bit too bright in my opinion, so full leather is probably a better option especially if you're like me & eat chocolate bars in the car occasionaly. I can't say I'd relish the thought of trying to remove chocolate stains from a yellow fake suede :(

Got to be full leather.. you can sit in a load of chocolate, and then just wipe it off... Shame I can't say the same for my trousers... and no I'm not going to be wearing leather trousers - they're very wrong!

There ought to be a law that says you can only buy leather trousers if you have a Motorbike licence. Can't see any other reason why a sane person would own leather trousers.

Unless you're that bloke off nightrider :nono:

Looks like full leather it is, thanks for all your input.

SkodiRS, Im just North of Winchester so currently talking to Jacksons, Warwicks & Sparshatts. Once weve sorted Wendys car it looks like a 4x4 for me to tweak, know anyone in Basingstoke who wants a 300 bhp Scoob as I need to move that first
