2018 Skoda Octavia central locking fault

Featured Replies

My Skoda doors are on auto lock so when I pull off they lock automatically, recently the look button hasn’t been illuminated and it try’s locking when I pull off and stop again even though the doors are locked it’s annoying as it’s making a click noise everytime I pull off. I have changed the locking unit button. I have checked it on the computer and these codes come up as displayed on the picture stating drivers door.

any help in what it could be?

Did you get this sorted . Ive got same issue on 2018 1.5tsi Octavia.    The ck start clunking is doing my nut in lol.   Be good to know if you got it sorted . Thanks

It will be the door latch itself has failed and needs replacing.

a micro controller will have failed, it could possibly be repaired if you know what you’re doing and how to strip it down, but personally replacing the latch is easier

I’ve ordered the door lock and mechanism it arrives Monday so see if it will fix the problem.

It’s all fixed it was the driver door lock mechanism apparently they are common on the 2018/67 model Skoda Octavia they tend to fail. It’s been replaced and all good working now.

Was repair expensive.    Best get mine sorted.

I bought mine from a local scrap yard and they fitted it also, dealers where asking for £230+ for the part, I got it fitted and replaced for £85
