C Pillar - Lower trim panel wanted (Hatchback)

Featured Replies

Anyone know where i can buy a NEW C Pillar trim panel from please.

I am looking for drivers side lower panel - Part No 5E98677669B9

Only ads I've found online don't ship to the UK and I'm reluctant to go through the main dealer !!!

Thanks

Why are you against getting the price from a dealer? It will surely be less than buying from an overseas online shop, every item I have checked with these sellers has always been far more than I paid for the genuine part from TPS who gave me an 8% discount on most things, sometimes more on service items.

These places rely on peoples understandable reluctance to buy from a main dealer but often charge even more.

@Breezy_Pete should be able to give you the retail price.

Just on the road, but yeah, can do in an hour.

Thanks J.R. - I guess I was nervous about dealership markups but will give Breezy_Pete a nudge.   :-)

Retail price appears to be £39.50 + VAT at Skoda dealers, so £47.40 by the time it's in your hand.

TPS may be cheaper, if you can blag your way to getting served.

LLL parts generally are cheaper, even after postage, but I'll leave you to check that out, by starting here: Skoda Satin Black 5E98677669B9 - LLLParts

Not usually lightning-fast with delivery, but if you were previously going to wait for it to come from afar, then that probably doesn't matter.

Many thanks for the advice.......helps with my "main dealer" worries. Thanks for taking the time to reply so quickly

No problem. You get nice surprises sometimes with things being less than expected. Not often mind!

I'm very happy to be proved wrong (again) in my cynicism and that Pete has found you a cheaper source of the OE part.

And joy of joys, as if my day wasn't good enough already their website says:

No custom taxes for EU and UK customers due to multiple warehouses in those regions.

Happy days for me 🥳

Having access to competitive suppliers like them is something I really miss now that I no longer have a foothold in the UK and post B*****

It’s crazy to think that TPS is generally (but not always) more expensive than LLL now!

Even with my trade account at tps it’s often cheaper to import from Czech or go through LLL, don’t know what is wrong with their pricing!

Now ordered from LLL at £39.00 'all in'.

(a UK ebayer wanted £40.00 + p&p for a 2nd hand dirty and scratched part which nearly hooked me in)

Many thanks to Breezy Pete and all of you that have helped change my mind. I love this forum - thanks to all.
