Aftermarket head unit replacement

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, fairly new to this forum but looking for a bit of help.

I have just replaced my factory stereo in 2013 Skoda Yeti with a pioneer head unit that I had in my last car.

I have used a connects 2 harness adapter which is listed for use with my make and model. The only thing I had to do extra was run a 12v live feed and 12v ignition feed from glove box.

I have done this and the head unit works fine and powers on/off with the ignition. Problem being that the head lights come on as soon as the vehicle is started and now the head light switch has no effect on how they operate.

does anyone have any ideas or come across this before?

TIA
