Previously working now I don't see any alerts at all.

I have gone through the manual & check all settings are OK, but nothing.

 

Any suggestions, please.

 

I downloaded and installed the latest maps 18months ago, but traffic worked in UK &  in Europe after.  Traffic stopped about 2months ago, so I dont thing its related

Trafficmaster have stopped broadcasting TMC over FM in the UK 

 

Plenty of threads about it. Depending on your headunit you may be able to switch to Inrix or use a very old map version:

I will try your suggestions. Probably rely on 'phone.

 

Best would be to upgrade the whole thing to Apple Car Play and then we can use the latest software from Apple. But that won't happen.

I'm not sure what you mean...?

 

Pretty sure a 2017 car should support Smartlink. If you connect your phone via USB, Carplay should work and allow you to use Apple/Google maps or Waze via the headunit.

 

If you mean to actually run Apple software on the headunit without the phone connected, then yes, that will never happen

There was a thread on an audi forum about changing it from TrafficMaster to Inrix by changing the coding in VCDS for 5B Fee based traffic from 32783 to 32782. However, mine was set to 1023.

 

Anyone tried anything like that?
