hello folks,

I have a split in the coolant pipe (see image - split is in oval) as its been rubbing on the engine. I can't find this part anywhere, do you have an idea?

Parts catalogue shows all three aluminium pipes plus a few other bits as a single replacement entity, 03G 130 308 N at £156 + VAT in UK, so I would imagine you would prefer to find a secondhand single pipe in a scrapyard? I know that I would.

No part number shown for just the coolant pipe (other two are fuel).

ah grand, thank you. I was looking in coolant pipes, so no wonder I couldn't find it if it come sin a set with fuel hoses.

nothing in local scrappies... urgh!

 

the cut is very close to the bulge (i.e. it is right up agaisnt it), and thus removing the tube and refitting the flexible pipe to the end would mean I have no bulge to help sucure the clip (would prob use a jubilee clip), and also quite close tonthe bend in the pipe. Any thoughts on if this is worth a go, and thus saving a wad of cash?
