Re map

Featured Replies

Hi, I've got a 2011 1.6tdi and a suspected DPF deleted.

I'm about to replace the DPF because the flexi has gone, once I fit the new DPF I will need to flash it back to factory so it does regens again.

Does anyone know anyone reliable in the York area to do this?

Thanks.

If the DPF has been deleted, I'm not sure why you would put it back in as this is an expensive job labour wise.

But to answer your question, if it has been deleted the map will have coded the DPF out.

To add the DPF back into the equation, yes you will need to map it back in so it regenerates.

If you go to a specialist they can just repair the Flexi.
