Hi Everyone,

 

I have an intermittent drive side mirror issue with my Skoda.

Model, Superb MK3 2018.

 

The driver's side mirror keeps re-adjusting out of position everytime i lock my car. 

When i adjust it correctly, leave my car, Come back and start it, the mirror adjusts back to incorrectly again.

It either adjusts all the way to the top, or the bottom.

I have tried setting seat position on all 3 profiles as the same.

Using the same key.

Changing profiles

 

But with no luck so far.

 

I can sometimes hear when it has reached the "limited" position, it keeps trying to adjust even more, makin a weird noise.

Adjustmest of the mirrors of working perfectly manually, so i do not think it's a motor issue.

Anyone with suggestions?

I had issues with my passenger mirror moving on its own and not moving at times.

They replaced the complete drivers door switch panel (window switches etc) and it was resolved

Adjustments are working fine and all however, so i doubt something needs replacement.

I had this happen once a couple of years ago and a window reset seem to’ve cured it. 

• Open all the windows.
• Pull all four window buttons up and keep them held-up all the way and once closed, continue to hold them up for 10-odd seconds.
• Keeping the ignition on, then set your mirror positions to the normal driving position and then store that position on all three memory switches. 
• Then start the car, select reverse and position the NS mirror to the park position and store that to position one. Return the car to Park. 
• Turn off the ignition and the NS mirror should now return to the normal driving position.

Exit, close and lock the car and the drivers mirror should not move.
