  1. I had issues with my passenger mirror moving on its own and not moving at times. They replaced the complete drivers door switch panel (window switches etc) and it was resolved
  2. I might be way off but i only notice it in winter!
  3. Mine is the same as yours but unlikely any fumes are coming in from there. Especially through the boot carpet and mat I have. I used to get the very occasional odd whiff of fumes but I think it’s the auxiliary electric heater for the coolant that activates in winter to help heat it up quicker. You can turn it off in the menu
  4. These days I don't think there is much difference between independent and franchise. Especially 3yrs plus. I had a fabia from Vantage skoda morecambe and I always found the service good.
  5. I find the suspension floaty/bouncy on both sets of wheels. In fact it feels worse on the 19” because the wheels are so hard and it sets the suspension off bouncing. Completely agree the 19” are the best for aesthetics. I don’t think you realise the difference until you try a smaller wheel.
  6. I run 17” winter wheels and have 19” summer alloys . I hate the road and suspension noise/ crashing with the 19” and look forward to having the 17” on. They are quieter, comfier, grippier and feel quicker. That being said the 19” are not uncomfortable just noisier with more trim rattle and more prone to wheel spin ideally I’d of had 18” wheels for summer but the car came with the 19” upgrade . I personally think the 17” look a tad small but I don’t care when I’m driving it!
  7. Agree with the other comments. It comes down to equipment/space Vs the basics of a good comfortable drive/ gearbox. I love the superb equipment levels but having had BMWs before miss the basics of good suspension/ noise insulation . Personally I’ve been disappointed with the DSG (mines a 7spd). I find the hesitation at low speeds/ setting off a pain In our diesel . It probably doesn’t help our other car is electric. Must admit the superb is brilliant on holiday trips with the space and loaded up. We also tow and it does it really well.
  8. I paid £60 for full alignment 2years ago with printout. There was also a charge per adjustment depending which one it was. Think that was £5 per adjustment.
  9. My 2019 car has the view button but no VC. It does control the phone. If you have VC fitted does the view button stop controlling the phone as well?
  10. Mines a 2019 superb and i don’t recall the steering getting heavy when stop start kicks in. I presumed the powersteering is electric and stays active. Mine is like your kodiaq, slight nudge and it starts up
  11. I know getting a delivery over the next week or two is a nightmare due to the bank hol and year end. Demand is high!
  12. The bi xenon headlights are fantastic and look nice. If you can I’d stretch to the SEL, you get some nice features over a SE such as denon, leather, heated and memory seats, electric tailgate, privacy glass and keyless entry. I’ve not driven with the standard headlights on the superb but the Xenons are a big step up to other cars I’ve had
  13. Agree my 2019 SEL ex. Only has blind spot ( plus rear traffic monitor) but no lane keeping
  14. I think Blind spot monitoring only became standard spec in 2018.
  15. I got mine from Marshall reading. I was really impressed with them although it was only 6months old and an ex skoda car. I travelled 4 hours each way and it was as described! I was quite happy with the steering wheel being off centre and they paid for a four wheel alignment at my local garage. Agree that there is plenty choice though. I travelled so far because I wanted a factory towbar and canton!
