Superb Radio dead

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am new here but I have been reading some of the old threads with interest and I am  hoping with fingers crossed that some of you knowledgeable people out there can help me please.

I have a 2010 mk11 skoda superb and just recently the columbus radio started only working intermittently.

It is however now completely dead.

I have checked the fuses in the car and the one at the back of the radio and they are all OK.

I have just recently had my central loomed fixed by an auto electrician and asked him about my radio and he tells me that I would need a new one.

From anybodies experience does my fault sound as though it could be repaired or is it a case of a replacement same for same and/or can it be upgraded. I would be grateful for any help or advice . TIA.

In 80% of the cases this will be the problem of power supply  circuits on radio board.

Hi ,

Thank you for this.

Is this something that can be fixed then in your opinion.

And if so by whom.
