The roof lining and the door card linings are coming adrift in my Octavia combi MK2. Anyone have an idea why and how to fix?

Do you mean doing it in someway other than using upholstery adhesive?

Seen a couple of youtube videos that advise against that, as it can come through the fabric and look horrible. Got a quote for €350 +VAT to replace the roof lining. Any idea on whether this is OK or not?

 

The Low Tack upholstery rattle cans i have used in the past do not come through and stain.

 

No idea if OK or not, if that is the going price for a trades person to do the job and there is no competition in your area that will be the price.

In Spain. Will try the rattle can solution on one of the doors and see what happens.. Thanks for the replies

Found a place that relined the roof and door panels, with a lifetime guarantee that can be transferred if I sell the car. They did a fine job, total cost €380.
