Skida yeti mfsw retrofit mfd buttons dont work

Featured Replies

Hello i recently retrofitted the three spokes multifunctional steering wheel with dsg paddles for my 2010 yeti . I also retrofitted cruise control on a diferent stick. My problem is that the right rotor button on steering wheel which works with mfd and the back button doesnt work . The mfd works with the controls on the right wiper stick . My question is can i make the buttons on steering wheel works?

My mfd doesnt have menus might be this the reason??

You need to do some coding to tell the car about the change of buttons - VCDS will do it.

You need to know what version of the instrument cluster you have, if yours is E or S spec you won't have MFD with the car outline.

Some research will tell you which cluster you have, and which version you need - and you'll need to get these coded before they'll work.

You need to buy a higher spec speedo cluster, and pay to have it coded to your car - not a cheap exercise
