If other owners of MK2 are around, please confirm/refute that there is only a partial cover.

Bump for any current owners of facelift mk2 Fabias to please tell this guy if you can or can't see the wiper motor through the grille below windscreen.

The DRIVERS side on a RHD car has NO cover, you can see the wiper motor / linkage

Above is Drivers side (RHD), apologies photo was taken in pitch dark at  23:00 hrs......motor clearly visible

On the PASSENGER side of a UK car, thats where your intake valve is for your heater, so that has an additional cover under the grille to stop water directly going into the heater assy.

Image below showing cover which you see through the grille.......this is on the LH side of a RHD car, this cover would be on RH side of a LHD car.

Thank you very much!!!

It is the same for LHD cars: the drivers side has no cover and on the passenger side the cover is present.

Everything is clear now, the car is not missing any parts.

From what I understood from the colleagues who posted in the first part of the topic (correct me if I'm wrong), the VRS version would have protections/coverings along the entire length of the windscreen grille. Could I put the covers from VRS on the non-VRS model? I saw that the screw on which the cover could be mounted is present on non-VRS model too.

@ngabriel  @UrbanPanzerhas a vRS so he will be right.

Sorry, I only have a stripped bodyshell and have not looked to check what is on it.
