It is not the same but we do the sunglasses holder that goes on the drivers side replaces the grab handle

They are OEM it does list it for the Mk4 Golf but should fit the Octavia

They don't fit very well in the Octavia. The hinges end up at the wrong angle and means it can't open very wide. I have them in mine and they aren't much use.

They fit the Fabia fine as that uses the same design grab handle as the Golf. It's just the Octavia that is different and doesn't work particular well.

What about the passat one, of is that different too?

The one in the photos looks like a good idea but I can also confirm that the Golf one doesnt fit at all well into the Octavia. :(

The passat one has different width screw holes and doesn't fit.

I never had a problem with using the golf one in my octy for 2 years.

And I don't have a problem with using it now!

Maybe its down to the style of sunglasses but with mine the opening was too narrow for them to slip in and out easily. :(

Same problem here as it installs 'part open' as far as the hinges are concerned compared to how it fits in the Golf.

mines is like the one in the photos, was in the car when i bought it , thought it was standard, only thing is none of my sunglasses can fit in it. bought a sunvisor clip( from the sunglass hut an my local shopping mall ) which is great and the glasses ar easily unclipped and always to hand.
