18" vRS Winter Wheels & Tyres

Featured Replies

Hi everyone and apologies for any rookie errors - first post on Briskoda! 🙂

I'm running a MY19 Octavia Estate vRS 2.0 TSi 245, but have just agreed to replace the lease with an 80x Sportline Plus Coupe Enyaq.

Due to my brother living in Switzerland, I bought some wheels identical to the standard fit ones - Gemini 18", except the winter wheels are chrome/silver finish vs the originals being graphite/anthracite finish.

I've barely run them in, using over 3 seasons of tentative UK driving (COVID scuppered most plans to drive to Switzerland!) so they've done about 6,000-7,000 miles only.

I'll need to get them photographed etc, but wondering if this is the correct / appropriate place to advertise them for sale, or if not, any hints or tips given that it's the perfect time of year when thoughts might be heading to keeping your Octavia firmly glued to the road?!

Thanks all, Olly

Hi there - I did the Freedom membership as you kindly advised and have now managed to sell my Winter wheels/tyres… via Gumtree in fact.

I have updated the title of my add to ‘Sold’ and removed the photos, but I can’t find a simple way of just deleting the posting. Is that possible to avoid wasting time for others browsing / searching for the same thing?

thanks in advance, Olly

Hi. It's not possible to delete your add yourself, that requires moderator/ Admin intervention. However, if you go to the first post in your ad, at the top you'll see the below.  Click on Moderation Actions and you'll have the option to lock the thread so no further replies can be made. Hope that helps.
