Just bought a 2017 Kodiaq with 80k on the odo. I've seen a few older posts on problems with the side assist and blind spot assist not working, sometimes due to needing to upgrade the software or needing a replacement module. 

Wanting to know if anyone has any recent experience, bonus points if in Australia, of being a second owner of a Kodiaq and having this issue pop up? And how it was resolved?

Unable to get side assist or blind spot assist to work. Always says, 'not available'.

Guess your problem and mine might be similar. Mine says not available as I dont have sensors fitted OR the indicators in the mirrors

 

Does your one have the blind spot indicators on the mirror?
