how do i get into it ??

And try putting a cd cleaning CD through the thing after opening the lid and giving it a good blow out.

Normally when i eject the magazine and re-insert, it always re-loaded as i could here it initialising. Now, its silent. Thinks maybe a hardware issue ?

Try disconnecting the power to the changer, that should reset it. Dont forget the changer is powered even when the stereo is off and the key removed from the ignition. Failing that it could be a problem with the HU. Does the headunit has a reset to default button.

Ah rite, may do that. HU does have a reset i think. Where would i find the power cable for the changer ?

The cable for the changer is under the carpet under the CD changer.

disconnected power and left for a minute then re-connected. Reseted ok and now works fine. Cheers !

If your connector is dirty it might happen again so you may want to clean off any chorosion on the connector if you get a chance.

The connector appears to sit in one of the favourite places for washer fluid to sit if the rear washer pip gets disconnected or if small amounts of water make it in around the rear light.
