Hi Folks,

 

Currently have a 2013 PFL Hatchback and looking for confirmation on the halogen headlight bulbs fitted to the car...I've looked in the owners manual and it doesn't seem to mention them anywhere 

 

Dip beam being a single filament Wil be the H7 bulb the issue is the high beam bulb as some sites list it as H1 whilst others list it as H3....looking through the lens it does look like the H1 but in photos they both look very similar in shape... Can you please confirm what I need to look for .... And what everyone is using as my light output is pathetic at the moment, especially the dip beam.

What trim level is your car and are you sure you've got halogen dipped beams?

 

Elegance trim cars had bi-xenon fitted as standard, and the set of bulbs required are different to the lower trims with halogens. 

It's an SE+ 1.6 TDI Diesel and definitely has halogens

H1, H3 and H7 are all single filament bulbs. H3 will have a short wire connected to one terminal on the bulb.
