Hi has any body tried to remove  the front lambda sensor as I'm finding it difficult. its located in the front under the turbo housing and front radiator so there is not much room, what do i need to take off to gain easy access to it.

I brought a lambda socket but it needs to be extra long as it doesn't sit properly to the base.

Hi did you manage to get this done 

I've tried twice with no luck There is no information anywhere for this awkward position. All the other 1.4tsi engines layouts are easy to work on.

I'm going to have another go this week and will let you know the outcome 

I have been looking as well very hard to find anything. Doing mine tomorrow and going to take the air filter out and the grill I think

All done today, The way  i did it was to remove both air filter housings ,then 3 torx at front holding something in then 2 torx holding the black bit in front ,the second torx screw is hidden.  Then it gives you room to push it back enough to get a socket on.

I took out the air filter just to kill time lol

Congrats,  yep mines dsg auto. Executive model. Mods I've done  is replace the radio to big android system and black front grill

Nice did you get the steering control working and what type of radio did you fit? As I would like to do this to mine when I finish paying off the finance? Cheers

Yes steering wheel works with radio ,payed about £112  android 12 and then extra for dab connection, was off ebay Chinese system loads on there maybe a lot cheaper now
