When I bought buy used Fabia 14 months ago I bought an after market radio from the dealer due to the car only having an cassette player in the car. The CD player ejects the CD's and even when the disc are in they don't play. I read somewhere last week that all electical goods are now covered by 2 year warrenty not 1 year like they also been. Would I be able to get a refund/replacement from the dealer or from Sony.

Anyone with any info.

if you've got the original paperwork for the audio unit you had fitted it should state the length of the warranty/guarantee ,this is usually 1 year from date of fitting , have you been back to the dealer to get them to inspect the audio unit ? or you could go to a specialist audio fitting centre who may be able to fix it or send it back to Sony for them to make a repair .
