I have noticed that sometimes during driving (with no destination programmed) the map display of the sat nave shows a kind of border area around where I am.

If anyone knows what I mean and has an explanation, I'd be grateful to hera it.

I seem to recall another forum user asking a similar question - 'greyed-out' area around indicated location. If I recall correctly, it was due to poor satellite reception, but I don't remember if it was due to a signal reception issue (antenna) or temporary satellite triangulation errors.
