Hey peeps just bought a new to me 2013 octavia with what I can assume is an mib1 system..has a Cd drive and twin sd reader with a roughly 5" touchscreen that seems to do whatever it wants when it's cold including calling random people or trying to change the language etc..from what i can see this is a common issue and I'm looking to upgrade to an mib2 setup so I can do android auto for navigation etc and not tear my hair out trying to stop casper from dialling my ex wife!

 

From reading various posts mainly by @SashaGrace and @pab567 I think I'm after this setup but feel free to correct me if im wrong...

Does this seem right? I dont want to go aftermarket as want to keep full functionality and also i am friendly with my skoda master tech so coding it to the car shouldnt be an issue im told?
