Warning lights after wiring towbar

Featured Replies

What a morning, spent the last couple of hours wiring in the dealer towbar harness behind fuse box.

Definitely something i dont want to do again!!

All went well apart from snapping the shroud surrounding the fusebox connector. I still havent figured out the workings around it. Is it possible to order a new one or should it be ok?

Anyway i have lights on my bike rack so its working

But ive been presented with several warnings

Manoeuvre braking error

Start stop error

ESC error

Tyre pressure error

Park pilot error

Im waiting on my vcds scanner coming so will coding it fix these issues or is it a combination of the battery being disconnected and no coding being done.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Have you drove it since? Looks like what you usually get from disconnecting the battery. May need to drive a short distance and go full lock to full lock on the steering to clear

Have you coded the tow bar?

Did you disconnect the battery? If so, turn the wheel slowly lock to lock with the engine running.

Will be coding this week when vcds arrives, this should sort issues.

Does this white shroud stop fusebox connector from coming loose, im concerned it may come disconnect over a bump in the road.
