Fabia front window regulator assembly

Featured Replies

Hello,

The driver's window on my Fabia Mark 1 dropped to the bottom of the door and I have managed to raise the window to the top of the door and temporarily secure it.

Unfortunately, when I unplugged the window electrical cable from the regulator (orange plug) I didn't unplug it properly and the 5 parts shown below came away from the regulator.

Does anyone have any idea how these 5 parts fit together?

I'd be very grateful for any help.

Thanks

The look like they should be parts of the front/rear window controls, from under the switch, the square brass things sitting on the greenish circuit board and the rubber pad on top. But then it needs to go into the switch assembly.

Thanks very much for your help. I'd almost given up finding an answer to my problem!

The video is very detailed and I'll be having another go at putting the switch back together.

Thanks again.

Mine did the same. The small screws that held the switch together had failed. I glued it back together but bought a replacement off amazon which wasn't expensive. Think it was around a tenner.

Hello Alasdair

Firstly, I must apologise for the delay in replying to your post.

I haven't yet had a go at repairing the switch and I'll probably do what you did and buy a switch.

I assume that for around a tenner it was a used switch from a seller on ebay. Or was it somewhere that specialises in Skoda parts?

That's great Alasdair

Thanks very much. I'll have a look at it.
