Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Anyone faced issues with the oil level sensor ? I got an error related to this and seems to be a permanent one.

Have you checked your oil level ?

First check. Oil level ok.

It's curios because this error appeard after an SW update notification.

The oil sensor is read by the ECU, software updates to the infotainment should not and will not affect it.

Since your oil level is ok, potential causes could be a faulty sensor, faulty wiring, sludge in oil pan etc. The latter is unlikely.

Solved! In fact was related to the oil sensor but on the ECU side. The area was cleaned with contact cleaner and in this way the fault gone.
