  1. I confirm, received same answer from skoda infoline.
  2. I just got an Scala with the basic digital display but I can't change the display lay-out. The steering wheel hasn't controls and checking the user manual I found no info related to this case. You can navigate thru menu using the wiper control but I found no option for lay-out. Any info related to this ?
  3. You can try adding some textile tape. On mine the ambient light strip inside the trim made some noise. Anyway Octavia is full of noises, You succeed to fix one and 10 new will appear.
  4. Merci pt reply.
  5. Hi guys, I want to upgrade la basic 2 spoke steering wheel to leather one but I need the part number fo the trims. Can anyone help me with the trims Pr ?
  6. Solved! In fact was related to the oil sensor but on the ECU side. The area was cleaned with contact cleaner and in this way the fault gone.
  7. First check. Oil level ok. It's curios because this error appeard after an SW update notification.
  8. Hi guys, Anyone faced issues with the oil level sensor ? I got an error related to this and seems to be a permanent one.
  9. Still not happy with the doors closing sound so...strenghten the weatherstrips. I added silicone tubing ( not foam tubing as in the clip ) inside the weatherstrip located on the doors, now everything feels solid as rock! Ps. Don't use tubing above 5mm in diameter otherwise will be very hard to close the doors! Below the inspirational clip : inspir
  10. Morning, this is the type of weatherstrip. Of course, the price here is more like a scam. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005056220707.html?src=google&src=google&albch=shopping&acnt=631-313-3945&slnk=&plac=&mtctp=&albbt=Google_7_shopping&albagn=888888&isSmbActive=false&isSmbAutoCall=false&needSmbHouyi=false&albcp=20011661692&albag=&trgt=&crea=en1005005056220707&netw=x&device=c&albpg=&albpd=en1005005056220707&gclid=CjwKCAjwgsqoBhBNEiwAwe5w0_8B0dKbgt6ZPke9e02KDurDZXhI7mDd2xperIX3EQCnynm9bgrLOxoC0rIQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&aff_fcid=a00dbb9a1a9c4998b6d01d24bf392f31-1695729348342-03167-UneMJZVf&aff_fsk=UneMJZVf&aff_platform=aaf&sk=UneMJZVf&aff_trace_key=a00dbb9a1a9c4998b6d01d24bf392f31-1695729348342-03167-UneMJZVf&terminal_id=c5220c96295d4888baa04f8bc5acac55&afSmartRedirect=y
  11. Buyed from a local car parts shop, very cheap, around 2€/meter.
  12. You see nothing from outside. OEM looking.
  13. I don't reccommend that glued weather strip due to my personal experience, after several weeks comes of. I used that for the space between front and rear door. Finally I used regular weatherstrip and after 2 years still ok. Very usefull against dirt between doors and wind noise.
  14. So, inspired by the Superb insulation topic and this one I gave a try on my Octavia 1.5. Did the wheel arches on the outside, the doors, the B-pillars and the floor under backseat. Maybe in the future I will give a try also on the boot floor + sides ( C pillars + arches on the inside ) Made measures with an mobile phone app before and after. Same road, 85km/h on cruise test for 5min with ventilation + radio off. 73db before and 69db after. Happy with the results. In my opinion wheel arches are a must against the road noise( personally I run on 18" with Potenza T005). Used only few butyl mats but a lot of 6mm armaflex( maybe 9mm is better but this is what I got).
  15. Is not this case. My problem is when I start the engine NOT when I want to drive and I'm parked on a hill.
