Software version 1940
1940 is the factory equivalent to the 1941 update.

Oil sensor fault 1.5TSI
The oil sensor is read by the ECU, software updates to the infotainment should not and will not affect it. Since your oil level is ok, potential causes could be a faulty sensor, faulty wiring, sludge in oil pan etc. The latter is unlikely.

12V battery
How much driving between starts, and have you used the auxiliary heater for preheating? The auxiliary heater (or the interior fan to be precise) consumes a lot of juice that needs to be replenished by driving for a significant amount of time. Start/stop is working exactly as it should by the sound of it. When the battery charge goes below a certain point start/stop is disabled.

Infotainment System Restarting endlessly
He got the quote right, that's about it. I wonder what he's been up to during his 7 months at Skoda, if he never heard about rebooting infotainments, network modules crashing (POP POP), steering wheel software issues... The list goes on. Many things already fixed or being fixed right now, but clearly he's either lying or trying to cover up 😂

Infotainment System Restarting endlessly
It depends. 1941 is being distributed as OTA in batches. Only a few cars have received it OTA so far. The dealership can also update it manually if there's a problem listed in the documents further back in this thread. BS, unless you're in Australia where the eSIM doesn't work (from what I've heard). BS BS

Rust on brake caliper
I think he wants the rust removed and meant "Rust on outside of caliper doesn't affect performance or safety, so will anyone at the shop care enough to make it a warranty case?"

Eeh? I enabled the memory function one month into ownership and I haven't had to touch it ever since. So yes, it can.

We were talking about the Eco tips, though. Lane assist can be programmed to be disabled on startup as well.

The eco tips stay disabled. I don't know what you're ranting about.
-
"Foot off the Accelerator" Message in VC
Not really. Driver Alert System (tiredness monitor) reminds you to take breaks after so many hours. Checks whether you're having trouble staying in the lane and so on. I've never had it alert me. I think there's just the option to enable or disable it under its menu.

Must be switched off in two different places. If they are so annoying, why don't you just turn them off?
