VAG Modules Identification Codes List

Featured Replies

Hi

I have scanned the modules in my car and came with the topology shown in attached photo.

Please help me identify the name of the modules with codes HBM_8C and HOB_BD.

Is there a complete list of all VAG modules identification codes?

I'd suggest googling for: vcds "address: 8c"

As that will at least give you an idea of what Ross-tech believe the module would be. In this instance:

- Address 8C: HV Battery (J840)

- Address BD: Hi Volt. Batt. Charg. (J966)

Here is a list of 34 modules picked up over ethernet on a 2023 Seat. I expect the MQB2020 Skodas will be similar.
