Have disabled headlight washing. I know its a MOT fail, plenty of rain to keep lights clean and will reactivate when MOT due.
Has anyone managed to get delay activated via pull of stalk?
Headlight clean 1st time after start is a pain

In my experience, I tend to use the windscreen wash when the spray from other traffic deposits dirt and salt over the windscreen.  Of course, the headlights are always in the same state.  Consequently having the headlight washers come on at the same time as I clean the windscreen seems to be a no-brainer.

 

I remember commenting to the guy who maintained our company's pool cars that he needn't wash the cars due to the amount of rain we had had.  His response was that the cars needed cleaning more than ever in wet weather.

I've just disabled mine with OBD11.

So have I, its an MOT fail though. I was hoping someone had managed to delay it via how long the steering wheel stalk was pulled.

Oh oops. Too tired to read properly 😛

 

BUt yeah. I've tried the delay. Not possible on MQBevo at least for now. Luckily MOT is not required for few years on new cars here.
