Electric Cars painted Green / Greenish, please play the game of spotting & posting here if you see any.

Featured Replies

Maybe with children in the car or yourself or passengers play the game.

Spot BEV,s (Battery electric Vehicles) but just cars not vans that are the colour green.

An Abarth, Vauxhall or MINI does not count there are a few of those about.

Ones maybe from but not only,

Alfa Romeo, Alpina, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Bugatti, BYD, Citroen, DS, Fiat, Fisker, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, JEEP, KIA, Land Rover, Lynk & Co, Nissan, Mercedes, Lotus, MG, Opel, Peugeot, Polestar,Renault, Seat, Skoda, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Rimac, Rivian, Volvo, VW.

The reason i ask is because i think any suggestion about Green Cars and the buyers thinking the colour Green on a BEV says something about them 'greener' driving them.

(The Green Vans, are usually their attempt at advertising the companies 'Green Credentials',

Articles last January, and again this January.

Thanks.

Blue / Green,  Look at the Green Flash on the Registration Plate to see this shade of Green looks Blue, or might to many.   Maybe it is Green on the V5 though.

On similar topic, what colour do you guys call this?

Wife insist it's blue,  V5 and I say it's green.

Interesting game, but I think white will win simply because this is Tesla's no-cost colour and it's multicoat metallic, very acceptable.

Green also isn't offered for Nissan Leaf as a colour option. Green is just not a commonly available to begin with. What's the next best selling BEV's after Tesla's? Do they offer green?

It’s officially turquoise so a greeny blue (more green than blue TBH) depending on the light.

It was the only ‘real colour’ available on the ID.3 when it was introduced.

A couple of photos in daylight :

Boring grey is bound to be the most popular colour, we’ve been guilty of that trend so insisted on a proper colour for our cars this time.

Although it’s a bit wishy washy Nissan (used to at least, not sure if it’s still available?) offered the Leaf in this silvery green:

I could not configure a Nissan Leaf in Green.

As to the Orange and Bronze numbers showing as being Registered in the UK.

There is getting to be a lot of Orange, Bronze, Golden coloured cars about, Nissan, Dacia, Renault, MG Ev,s now, BMW,s including EV,s, Mercedes.

My favourite Green colour is a shade used on some Mercedes.

Yesterday i was WTF is that PURPLE disaster off in the distance and as it past i was able to see it is the Hot Hyundai Crossover / Small SUV thing.  With N in the name.

I doubt that children will be able to understand the rules of the game or have the attention span to listen to them, I am still scratching my head.

@Gizmo

1st picture looks blue to me but I could accept it is green as I am Green/Blue colour blind which pun intended is not Black and White! 😁

The second vehicle is Blue to me all day long.

That's definitely a blue grey...   No green in it at all...

That seems to have a very slight hint of green in it.

@J.R. that will be about the children and maybe their interest in cars or being competitive with other children / brothers, sisters.

'Green Flash' Registration plate spotting is boring when there are lots about so spotting EV,s without a Green Flash can be an alternative.

Most who see the colour in person say it's more green than blue.

But it maybe a colour that some see as blue, others as green??

We recently moved house and this is called "Dix Blue"?? (everyone who has seen it say's it's green)

Eggshell Blue,  which is greenish.

I feel sorry for any floorboards that get distressed.   Like the Floor boards at George Osborne's wedding venue.

I remember mention of Farrow & Ball in an article about that.

Yeah I think blue and green, or at least some shades of bluey green ot greeny blue are definitely seen differently by different people.

Like that paint...   I'd call it an eggshell blue but I can see why some might call it green
